SHARE YOUR STORY: Seeking Hard of Hearing Subjects for Documentary Photo Book (US)

Are you interested in sharing the story of your hearing loss experience?

Words and pictures have the power to move people and I want to create a photo-book/monograph that will present photographs and stories of individuals of varying ages, ethnicities and genders and their challenges of living with a hearing loss. This will be my contribution to positive and lasting change for those of us in the hearing loss community.  The general public doesn’t have a full understanding of the issues faced by this diverse group of people. It is my hope that this photo-book will create a greater awareness on issues of hearing loss stigma, social, educational and financial impact. The monograph will empower people through exchange of knowledge, encouragement and shared experiences.

If you are interested in taking part in this project to create change and to share your story, shoot me an email to request more information. Please feel free to email me, Marisa Sarto at msarto@marisasarto.com or visit my website www.marisasarto.com for more information.
