Scholarships
Conventions are places where young adults can network, learn about new technologies and resources, present workshops, serve on panels, and develop a strong support base with other young adults in the US and elsewhere. One of the conventions for which we offer scholarships is the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) National Convention. In recent years, it has proven to be an invaluable experience for young people with hearing loss, and we want to encourage their interest and participation in issues and occupations that address the communicative, social, technological, legislative, and personal needs of people with varying degrees of hearing.
The next HLAA Convention is in Providence, RI from June 20-24, 2012. In June, the 2013 location will be announced.
